Why Did Nezuko Hair Change Color?

Nezuko’s hair is completely black when we first meet her in human form. Colors come later on the floor, but Why Did Nezuko Hair Change Color?

Nezuko’s hair seemed to change color as she became a demon. Colorful stripes appear on the hair of many demons, and Nezuko appears to have found his own shortly after becoming one. We can see the change in her hair as she changes and separates from Tanjiro.

As Nezuko and Tanjiro encounter many demons, some more vicious than others, we find further evidence of this theory.

The Moment That Nezuko Hair Color Changes

We usually use manga as a source, but today we will use anime to respond to color change. Nezuko’s hair is entirely black at the end of the episode # 1. Her hair is entirely black at the top, bottom, and tips.

Nezuko disappears shortly after waking up and making Tanjiro fall off a hill. When the camera returns to her, a vivid color appears on her hair. Because this series has never been seen before, it can be assumed that it results from demon possession.

The streak remained in Nezuko’s hair even after cooling off under Giyu’s direction. As the couple encounters more demons, especially during the Great Months, it becomes apparent that the demons have colorful strands on their hair.

Later in life, Yushiro, Tamayo’s aide, also became a demon. Her jet hair is lined with bright green. Susamaru, the Tamil demon who attacked Yushiro, has pale orange stripes that cut his hair.

So you have it. Nezuko’s hair seemed to change color as she became a demon. Her hair was completely black, but after her change, light lashes appeared.
