Kakashi’s Sharingan isn’t just for show! When he was a child at the Konoha ninja academy, Kakashi would copy his classmate’s homework and sell it to them. He didn’t do this for money, he did it because Kakashi had a stomach ache from hunger.
His classmates caught onto Kakashi and Kakashi was finally introduced to Kakashi’s rival, Mr. Obito Uchiha, and his Sharingan eye.
When Kakashi heard what the Sharingan eye could do, Kakashi begged Mr. Uchiha for it, and Mr. Uchiha agreed on one condition: Kakashi had to be stronger than him. Kakashi accepted the deal but later realized that if he could copy his best friend’s kunai technique with just one eye, he could easily copy it with both eyes.
So Kakashi came home late at night to see his father stabbed by a kunai, probably thrown by Mr. Uchiha.
How Did Kakashi Get Sharingan in Both Eyes?
The most mysterious thing in Naruto is how Kakashi got Sharingan in both eyes.
First of all, we need to know what exactly it means by ‘Kakashi has Senju DNA.
It is clear that he has Hashirama’s DNA when they tested his cells in Konoha hospital. For those people who don’t know, Kakashi got stabbed in the stomach by Gato’s men during he saved Tsunami. He was badly injured and Tsunade took a sample of his cells to the hospital for future reference.
However, what is not clear is whether Tsunade used that DNA or not?
We don’t know how she will use it but we know for sure that she has it. So, by using his DNA was not a huge problem for her.
Probably, Tsunade used the cells to create a perfect body and then she put Kakashi’s real eyes in there. Maybe, she made a ‘perfected Kakashi’. She knows where to take the cells from so no problem.
How Did Kakashi Lose His Sharingan?
In most of the manga and anime, it is shown that Kakashi Hatake is a shinobi who possesses a kakugan. He is also renowned for his Sharingan which he uses in completing missions.
However, in one episode of Naruto Shippuden, it was shown that Kakashi lost his kakugan but never revealed how it happened.
In the anime episode 125 titled Kakashi’s Resolve, kakashi had a flashback of when kakashi and his team were ambushed by kabuto’s reincarnated shinobi. Kakashi did not have time to avoid the kunai which pierced his left eye and he was temporarily blind on that eye.
The kunai hit the same spot where Kakashi received a scar from an ocular-related Jutsu. It was confirmed by Kishimoto and Kishimoto said it is possible Kakashi lost his kakugan permanently due to the injury.
However, Kakashi has already shown his Sharingan on both of his eyes in some manga and anime episodes such as episode 35 of naruto Shippuden.
Does Kakashi Have Sharingan in Boruto?
In the series, Naruto, we see that Kakashi Hatake had his Sharingan eye. The question is, does he still wear it in Boruto?
According to an episode of Boruto Naruto Next Generations (Boruto), there was a small scene where Kakashi wiped off some coffee from his mask and underneath was some sort of spiral mark (Sharingan). The episode # 25, title is “Rescue Gaara”, Around the 16:41 mark.
Is Kakashi A Uchiha?
There has been a lot of confusion about the bloodline limit that resides in Kakashi. After Sasuke goes through his 2 stages of MS, he asks Jugo if they have the same bloodline limit as him. Jugo proceeds to say that Sasuke’s Sharingan is not a blood limit and then asks if Kakashi has one. Sasuke then says that Kakashi doesn’t have one, but Jugo said that he does. Jugo says “I don’t know what it is called, but I have seen someone else use it”
There are 2 possibilities to this argument.
- Kakashi does indeed have a blood limit that has not yet been revealed.
- He is not an Uchiha, but possesses a powerful doujutsu that has yet to be revealed.
Let’s start by taking into account that Kakashi was at one point part of team Minato (the 4th Hokage). This would make Kakashi about the same age as the rest of the current Konoha 11. Kakashi also had the Sharingan in his youth, before it got destroyed in a fight against some enemy ninja.
This same ninja however also destroyed his left eye, leaving him blind in that eye. There are some theories that say the ninja he fought with ripped out his Sharingan as a trophy, but that does not seem to be the case.
The most reasonable explanation is that Kakashi grew tired of his Sharingan, and that’s why he removed it. He wanted to be like everyone else and not stand out.
Kakashi is now about the same age as the rest of his former teammates (Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon). It would be reasonable to assume that Kakashi was about 12 years old when he removed his Sharingan.
